Ben Barker is the President of the Legion Community Foundation. Introduced to rugby through his four children, who play across San Marcos High School and the Encinitas Dragons, Ben quickly developed a genuine passion for the sport despite discovering it later in life. He now supports the game firsthand by assisting with coaching at his local high school rugby program and is a member of the California Legion MLR ownership group. Deeply connected to his community through his church, rugby, and year-round philanthropic work, Ben is committed to expanding access to values-based youth development and strengthening the Foundation’s impact across San Diego.
