Legion Referee Academy
CALLING ALL REFEREES & NON-REFEREES TO JOIN THE LEGION REFEREE ACADEMY
The Legion Community Foundation kindly invites you to join our Legion Referee Academy. We will offer a special 6-week rugby refereeing up-skilling series. This is an amazing opportunity for you to get alongside our MLR Referee and San Diego Legion Staff in what will be a collaborative learning experience. We will provide the current content and knowledge based on the essential pillars of the game - Roles & Responsibilities, Positioning, Law, Tackle & Ruck, Scrum, Lineout & Maul, Set Piece, Foul Play, S&C/Pathway. Modules will either be held at Legion HQ at 6:30 pm or Online.
After we go through this course, you will be a part of the Legion Referee Academy, which includes a referee starter pack, the designated referees for Legion Academy games, and access to the Foundation's discount code for tickets to SD Legion games. This program is FREE to everyone who commits to refereeing at least two academy games.

Help our Junior Academy get to The Capital!!!!
We are looking for donations to help send our Under 18 Academy team to Washington DC To compete in the Mid Atlantic MLR Championship in late June.With no meaningful Academy competition on the West Coast we have been forced to travel across the country to give our players the best opportunity to compete at the next level.As always with Travel comes extensive cost; with this in mind we are looking for donations to help support the cost of Airline travel, Accommodation & Ground Transport.
